So sometimes I can’t tell when I riding so high and that’s usually when I want to socialize and find a partner. I’ve been manic before with women and they’re either into the energy or they can tell I’m unstable and get scared away I guess. I just met this really nice girl and we were talking and she brought up that she had depression and anxiety and then I brought up that I’m bipolar because I was kind of flattered that she opened up to me so I thought I’d do the same. She kept saying she “wanted to get to know me” but then after we finally met up she just kind of ghosted me. I’m feeling a little out of whack probably a little depressed so I can’t tell if I’m just reading into this too much. I feel like no girl is gonna want to date me if I say I’m bipolar. I know other people probably have great and loving partners and I just want to find that for myself but sometimes I feel like I’ll just keep scarring them away. a Malaysian indie film director currently residing in Beijing, China.

ah, yeah, you refereed to it as a “post”, too, which I’m accustomed to meaning a reply/comment. I did find it odd you could’ve misread my “post”, but the combo of those two things lead me to conclude you must’ve. haha, OK. I believe this is my first time here, which is why I visited the “About” section to begin with, actually

oh.. now that I look you also mentioned you hoped the site had “blocked” him, too, so three things which in the parlance I’m used to would indicate you were referring to him as a commenter. well I may be clueless about the site, but maybe we’ve sorted this out a bit for anyone who might be wondering about it in the future. yours is the first comment under the blurb

I know it was an article. I quoted it in my own comment. When I used the word “comment,” I meant it in the generic sense of the word and not as a comment in response to an artilcle. I guess it can be confusing. Maybe “remark” would be a better word to use.

I’m pretty sure anyone can post an article on Taste of Cinema. I’m assuming they have some kind of standards, but the quality of the articles suggests that the standards are pretty low. I’ve read some great, insightful articles on this site and I’ve read some unadulterated garbage.
