Oh yes, I’ve seen The Horseman, too, Australian films are one of my weaknesses. Another very funny film is Jane Campion’s Holy Smoke! with Harvey Keitel and Kate Winslet.

Thanks doll. I like some obscure gems to watch. Just saw The Horseman the other day.

I love Welcome to Woop Woop, it’s very sharp and funny. This is a good list…adventurous viewers might also want to check out Wake in Fright, The Year My Voice Broke (with Ben Mendelsohn and Noah Taylor), Ana Kokkinos’s Head On (1999) and Schepisi’s The Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith.

Hard to find a good copy of Woop Woop. Had to go to pirate bay for a widescreen copy.

I liked Danny Deckchair. That was a good movie. Dude gets fired, neglected by his girlfriend, rides a chair with balloons tied to it as he then flies to a small town where he feels appreciated by Eowyn.
