The Purge was such a massive disappointment. At least Anarchy and Election Year were significantly better. Was really anticipating Passengers after seeing the trailer but then heard such negative things about it so never bothered to check it out. Might do some day though.

You know what, virtually all of these were movies I was highly anticipating – or at least looking forward to – and they all were fairly big disappointments.
These weren’t great concepts ruined by subpar directors, or overwhelmed casts. These are flicks helmed by proven members of the industry.

I watched Live By Night about a year ago and can't remember anything about the story or even one scene. Just that ugly ass vest Affleck wore.

Hotel Artemis felt like it jumped onto the John Wick success but without a decent script…some of the dialogue is as bad as some of the acting….forced and pointless scenes that had no conclusion or reason
It could have been so much better.
