Are you not familiar with sarcasm? I haven't a clue in hell as to why this film was included so I found the most ridiculous reason I could come up with!

How does the place where the songwriter of a film was born make something a western?

Called a gunfight.

Because Roy Orbison sang the theme song and was born in Texas?

And you start off with a John Wayne film? Are you high on horse poop? Beep beep beep, are you a robot? Half of these aren't even Westerns, not even Neo-Westerns. Everyone and their mother's seen WESTWORLD, it's a sci-fi cult classic that got turned into a highly rated TV series. Anyone and everyone visiting this site has seen EL TOPO. We're cineastes in search of hidden gems, under seen and under rated films, movies, flicks. This list is an insult to anyone who loves westerns and has delved into the genre. I rest my case. https://media3.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTg5OGZmOWM5a3d2bmN4bXo5NHo4NHNtN2p2Y2JpZ3U1ZGlpdmZzNXRybHhuN3YzOSZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/lTRin85VBW3TS5IP5l/giphy-downsized-small.mp4

Agreed. I don't see Zabriskie Point as a western. Just as an art film. El Topo is really an Eastern than a western. Westworld is a sci-fi film. Who are these hack writers that are writing for this site?
