I was hyped for It Follows because I dug Myth of the American Sleepover by the same director. He delivered the same cinematic flair with great mood/atmosphere, but yes, I find the movie incredibly dull (and it was filmed in parts of suburban Detroit I grew up in).
That being said, I’m still on board with whatever he comes out with next.

I’ve seen it three times already. Never said it’s a bad movie, just that the third (final) part is, in my opinion, weaker than the first two which are near perfect.
