Oh come on! It wasn’t that bad. Quantumania sadly was a fucking mess as I blame that on the screenwriter for that one.

Love and Thunder was so bad, it made me give up on the MCU forever
After Vol. 3, I’m out

These lists are usually only 10 flicks. I’m sure there’s many more that could be added.

She’s a great actress, without a doubt, but this was ill-advised casting.

Wow… you’re absolutely dead-wrong on this film.

It is not that the public wanted a film like the others, as the article says, it is a work full of contradictions and the fictionalization is offensive in many ways, posing situations in which real life characters do terrible things that they never did, like show to Marilyn’s mother try to drown her or the first producer who rape her; And is superficial in everything else, their relationships with their husbands are a good example, even the trio with the Chaplins, all are barely developed stereotypes. I like the cinematography but everything else is one obvious and manipulate message about women in the industry, and men the Kennedy shit, that scene was one of the most ordinary metaphors about womens place that i have ever seen

In fact, it wasn’t a film about Marilyn Monroe. It was about Norma Jeane Baker and the persona that she created in which she had a love/hate relationship with. There were elements in the film that were fictional in order to be this character study as I knew that going in and knew it was going to be torn to shreds because audiences wanted the film to be like everything else but ended up getting something else entirely.

As for Thor: Love and Thunder. Yes, it’s a step-down from Thor: Ragnarok but it is a great commentary on the idea of gods and false idols which would force Thor to be something better despite the many issues of PTSD, grief, and fear that he was going through. Especially when the film had a villain who was pretty much right-on about what he was trying to do in killing all of these gods. Its ending I think is a big step for the Thor character as it begins not just the process of healing for him but also taking on a bigger role for himself and hopefully would give him something he had lost for years which is family. His brother (though from an alternate timeline of sorts) is alive and that reunion is something audiences would definitely want. Plus, I would love for the Loki series to end with him, Sylvie, Kid Loki, Gator Loki, Throg, Thor, and Love all sitting on a couch playing Fortnite with their friends and allies.

I do disgree with him on Don’t Worry Darling, It is a total trainwreck and 2 hours of my life I will not get back.
