Yes to Gauntlet and the author misses other underrated ones by placing movies that were never underrated to begin with on the list. I would add Tightrope as well.

Clint is awesome when you have him with Don Siegel or giving Michael Cimino his break. Absolute Power is indeed underrated and it is such a solid film. Sudden Death is one of my favorite film of the Dirty Harry series. Especially the scene where Harry kills those people at his favorite diner as I love the small details Eastwood put such as the waitress putting lots and lots of sugar into his coffee and the moment he steps out and takes a sip only to spit it out is when he knows something is wrong.

Escape from Alcatraz is pretty well known as well and it’s a strong film. I would probably put The Gauntlet on this list.
