Yes I know, a bit of a contradiction. For my “best” film list I try to be objective, while for my “favorite” list I let myself go fully subjective, with all my emotions involved. GBU is my third favorite film, The Shawshank Redemption is second, and Before Sunrise (whose trilogy was coincidentally also on this list) is king of the heap 😀

Of course then you would have exceptions like Kubrick’s “2001” which completely buries the novella.

So Ennis Punisher comics output = extremely well written.
Movies = suckage.
