About 95% of these winners were not the best of their years. Academy’s choices for the most part are safe, political and unimaginitive. In one word – god awful.

I thought the same thing re: this years Best Picture winner. How many other films on this list dropped as the years went by. I am notbsaying it does not deserve #5 spot – just that it is way too soon to be ranking it on this list.

On this list Greenbook is the best, this movie has it all. The Departed is an excellent film. There are a few more good ones on here but the rest, wake me up when they’re over.
