I’m Always open to discover obscure gems

Some more obscure gems that could be on a list such as this:
The Quiet Earth (1985) The first New Zealand sci-fi film about the last 3 survivors on earth.
Kin-dza-dza (1986) A wacky Soviet Union Era sci-fi story of 2 Soviets visiting a kooky planet.

I’ve seen good comments about “coma” plus Michael Douglass is usually a guarantee.

I was totally not expecting to read the # 6 as the best movie from this list. I guess you can’t never judge a book by it’s cover.

I’ll go by the numbers – 1 & 2 are enjoyable if you’re okay with early pratical effects. 3 is excellent due to Mr. Price. 4 is a classic Sci-Fi flick – similar to an early adult version of War Games. 5 – though I’ve seen this, I’m not a fan of Allen and I don’t feel the movie is good. 6 – best movie on the list (for me). So much better than the dumpster fire re-make from 2002. 7 – decent thriller (not a Sci-Fi flick IMO). 8 – passable for me. Effects are okay for the time and a recommendation if you’re a fan of the genre. 9 – I’ve not seen this one. 10 – Not bad. Campy, but fun to see Hamill play against type and some early cameos.

Care to recommend a few films from this list? I’ll appreciate if you trow some recos
