I have seen Support Your Local Sheriff before. It is funny without being insulting to fans of Westerns. Great cast too. You wrote a good review article that makes me want to see the rest of these films.

A little disappointed with some of the dialogue in “ The Big Country “ but top acting, superb cinematography, and a music theme that is very uplifting, but did feel that Carol Baker overshadowed
Jean Simmons in this one. “ The Nevadan “ certainly sounds interesting with Western Cowboy Legend, Randolph Scott, matching wits with Big Man, Forrest Tucker. Ride with Barbara Stanwyck
on her White Horse in “ Forty Guns “ but keep an eye out for some top acting from Dean Jagger in this one.

The only film on that list I've seen and have on DVD is Forty Guns mainly because of my love for Samuel Fuller. It's a great movie.
