Hope I didn’t spoil the ending, but I figure everyone knows it. It’s a fairly accurate story about Hamer and Gault’s hunt for the outlaws with great production quality. Harrelson was great with some humor sprinkled in and the period look was excellent.
Costner’s hair dye job looked silly.

Agreed. Doesn’t mean they weren’t fine films. B & C was filled with historical fiction too. Anytime I see a poster or still of Beatty holding a Chicago Typewriter I cringe. Clyde slept with his BAR. The scene where Hamer is captured and humiliated is booty. His widow sued the producers for defamation and settled out of court. The only time they met was when Hamer unloaded in their faces.
