Great to see “Shiva Baby” (#2 on my 2020 list) here! Definitely agree with number 1 because it is certainly the best film of 2021 and Cumberbatch’s the best performance of the year. I wouldn’t have included “Belfast”, “CODA” or “C’Mon, C’Mon” which I feel are some of the most overrated films (but at least you didn’t include “King Richard”) in a long time. I would’ve included “Nightmare Alley”, “Boiling Point”, “Azor”, “The Absent Director”, “Last Night in Soho”, “Tick Tick Boom” and at least 4 of the main animated contenders.

Cumberbatch is great as advertised, but boy, the rest just bored me. Maybe it gets better and I’ll give it another shot since my wife wants to see it, or maybe I’ll leave it to her.

C’mon derivative of what? Soho felt like Repulsion, Mulholland Drive and Vertigo in a blender for me

Although well acted I felt the C’mon C’mon was a fairly derivative story and Last Night in Soho challenged the viewer more. I would also move Pig to the noumber 1 spot, Cage was fantastic.
