Old movies or novels are a nice way to find peace of mind these days.
Rouben Mamoulian, made some great action pictures and musicals throughout his entire career, I’d recommend them all…I listed his Mark of Zorro above, also check out his musical comedy Summer Holiday (48).
Stormy Weather & Cabin in the Sky (above) are also great musicals, with performances by cool black actors and singers from that period.

Thank you, i will check. I love searching for new old movies i might love, is gives me peace and there’s alot of forgotten films that are amazing. I don’t usually love the most famous classic films, it makes me sad and happy at the same time that thes best movies of that time for me are kind of unknown.

I will make a list and shared to you, there’s so many. But know that i absolutely love musicals and adventure films from that time.

I love old movies, Andrey, they are my comfort food, ha, chicken soup for the soul.

That’s a mixed bag (without foreign titles) but they’re all pretty good. You’ll have to let me know about some of your old favorites…
