Several of these are great, but mainly from a technical standpoint. Not all of them are neccesarily great “scenes”. Atonement’s tracking shot really captured the feel of wartime, but at rest. The effect on the soldiers. The score and just the amount of individual moving pieces. That scene always brings chills.

My thought too. Take out Gravity, which is all made in a computer. A single take with a dozen or so actors, even more crew, complex tracking and crane shots is a major undertaking. One flub and start all over again.
