I want the alternate ending (the one more accurate to the book, actually) available as well. You can find a grainy-version taken from the TV. And the Tangerine Dream score is just awesome to listen to. Truly would be interesting to see digitally remastered, if possible. Too bad the guy in charge of a big chunk of the special effects died without writing down what he was doing and for what scenes, which is part of the reason it looked so unfinished.

I still have my VHS copy, but no VCR, dammit. I gotta get one so I can watch it along with the original Star Wars trilogy that’s NOT special edition. I hate the special editions. George Lucas could make a killing if he could release the original non-special edition versions of Star Wars 4,5,&6 again!
