In reply to Winduct. what ? Kevin Kline is since a fish called wanda only known for (sometimes very mediocre) comedies in wich he always steals the show. It was a suprise for me as a teenager to see him in older films (like cry freedom or sophie's choice)

Some actors really shine with comedies, like diCaprio. I would also add Kevin Kline’s performance in “A Fish Called Wanda,” one of the funniest performances I’ve seen from an actor who is not known as a comedian and one of the very few comedic performances to win an Oscar.

My dad was a big fan of Leonardo diCaprio and he still thinks he should've won the Oscar for The Wolf of Wall Street as he just laughed his ass off over that film. I agree, Leo did things in that film I never would've thought he would do. I think it's his crowning achievement as an actor. The delayed Quaaludes scene remains a defining moment in cinema as I will always remember watching that in the theater on Xmas day. Never in my life did I laugh so fucking hard and to hear laughter by that audience be so fucking hard and to go on for that long.
