The word “literally” is overused and misused much too often by poor writers. Also, it’s not a good sign when a writer ends their list with a list of “honorable mentions.”

If you think it’s a Best of 2020, you’re smoking crack (or something stronger). No entertainment value whatsoever. It was interesting for about 10 minutes then devolved into a series of scenes that made no sense. Put this in the “How did this ever get made” category.

I mean it’s horrible, one of the worst “horror” movies and one of the worst movies i have seen in recent years. I cannot understand the praise at all. Even Hollow Man (2000), which is not a good movie by any means (maybe the only redeeming quality was CGI, which looked pretty good back then) was still better than Invisible Man (2020). If you want Invisible Man, stick with James’ Whale (1933) version.
The Lodge started okay-ish and seemed to be going well, but went nowhere and turned out to be boring and forgettable.
