Yes, I love Garrel’s L’Enfant Secret and Renoir’s Picnic on the Grass. I haven’t seen Ming-Liang’s Your Face but I wrote it down because I like many of his earlier pictures. Above all, however, I was thrilled to see the two Rosi films on this list because I have a weakness for Italian films and The Moment of Truth and Salvatore Giuliano are among my favorites (Rosi’s Carmen, too!).

I didn’t even realise Salvatore Giuliano was a real person, I just knew him as the main character in Mario Puzo’s ‘The Sicilian’. Curious now just how much of that book was fictional.
