Marvel’s like any other franchise, total hit and miss. Oftentimes just filler because they need X movie to set up for Y movie but you do get some depth and quality, sometimes. Most recently coming to mind the latest Spider-Man and the very underrated Eternals. But still, Marty’s spot on about theme parks.

I believe with the exception of Taxi Driver, time hasn’t been overly kind to those movies. They were undeniably impressive upon release, but I wouldn’t put Raging Bull, Mean Streets or even Goodfellas among the all-time great (that have weathered, and endured the test of time) — Casino is definitely lesser Scorsceees

It does matter, although I’d say less in the case of “Taxi Driver”, because it’s hard to rewatch often, since it’s soooo incredibly disturbing, and upsetting and – worst of all – relevant to this day, that it’s never gonna be as enjoyable as something like “Goodfellas”.
