Saw Phase IV when it was released in theaters and was thoroughly creeped out. There was another movie about the same time called Bug with Bradford Dillman that was creepy as well.

In reply to highlander. I first saw it, I think, in the early 90s on TBS or TNT MonsterVision and it has always stuck with me. Seeing now on Blu-ray is a revelation. It is such a beautiful film to look at.

Moon Trap is pretty dire, Phase IV is a snooze fest, Night of the Comet is massively overated. Have either not seen the rest or have and enjoyed them.

What a super fascinating list — a throwback to the old ToC days.
(Also, the only one of these flicks I’ve seen is Night of the Comet, so you actually dug very deep for these cuts.)

For pure space campiness and dumbassery you can't beat Starcrash (1978) and Battle Beyond the Stars (1980). Buxom bimbos and helmet-haired heroes abound.
