Was motivated to finally check out Q&A thanks to this list.
It rocked. Feaured God-tier Nolte, with a wonderfully unhinged Assante, and a fantastic Luis Guzman. I heard someone compare it to Place Beyond the Pines, but that’s half-true because Pines was heavily influenced by Lumet’s Prince of the City, has a lot in common with this movie

Now this is more like it — nice to see ToC scraping together some decent lists [ignoring the hater/film geeks saying everyone has seen every Lumet flick].
Prince of the City is an absolute masterpiece. Had a serious influence on many more well-known crime flicks (Donnie Brasco, Place Beyond the Pines…).
