Oh I see, you’re referring to Egoyan, yes, it’s too bad that he didn’t maintain his initial momentum but at least he had a solid ten years prior to that.

Yes, I like the 1994 version of Little Women, too. I read that book back when I was learning English and really liked it.

Wow, that’s cool that you saw Brazil, it seemed weird and absurd when I watched it for the first time, too, but that’s the point since it’s set in a crazy dystopian society. The director, Terry Gilliam, has a knack for capturing that sort of insanity (12 Monkeys, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Jabberwocky, etc.). Thanks for telling me about it.

I love it too. I adore the 1994 version of Little Women. By the way i just saw Brazil for the first time and i don’t know if i loved yet because is so absurd, but i’m beginning to. What do you think of the film?

Yes I’m fine, I watched George Cukor’s Little Women (1933) earlier, it’s really nice, I love the classic style of those old Hollywood pictures, the tight compositions and expressive faces (Joan Bennett and Katherine Hepburn).
