I’ve gone on about it here before, but Prince Of The City is a certifiable masterpiece. Maybe the greatest unheralded film in modern American cinema.
[Damn, hopefully this doesn’t oversell it for folks who haven’t seen it yet.]

I found The Seven-Ups ok, but relatively muddled with uninteresting characters. I’ve seen Madigan, Police, Prince of the City and Flic Story years ago – from what I recall all are worth a re-watch.
