Jacknife was the first film I though of too. Another one is The Mission — great performances by DeNiro and Jeremy Irons, an amazing location and a heart stopping score by Ennio Morricone. A better known film but probably not well known among younger viewers is Midnight Run — probably DeNiro’s best comedic role.
