Miller’s Crossing is one of the three best films of that decade (and arguably the best) – I agree it is not heralded as much as it should be.
A few selections on here I haven’t seen: Jesus’ Son, River of Grass, that look real interesting.
A few clunkers on the list though. Tombstone and Carlito’s Way have not aged particularly well (which is fine, they were very good for their time. Not all movies are meant to last 30+ years).

I wouldn’t call “Welcome to the Dollhouse” a “masterpiece” but to each his own. I agree at least with “Miller’s Crossing”.

Ghost Dog is a great film and a very underrated work from Jarmusch.

In reply to lamarkeith. Well, have you seen any of them? I've seen nearly all but Trust in its entirety and they are underrated depending on who you ask.
