I just rewatched the entire exchange between Hopper and Walken, they’re an exciting pair, it’s an inspired bit of casting with hilarious irreverent dialogue by Tarantino, what a classic sequence.

Exactly. A viewer can dislike the movie or certain aspects of it, such as the brutal scene between Arquette and Gandolfini, but there are still nuggets of gold to be found, especially in the entertaining performances, not just Walken and Hopper’s scenes but also the bits with Brad Pitt, Gary Oldman, Michael Rapaport, Bronson Pinchot and Kevin Corrigan.
