I don’t care how beautiful it looked if I can’t stay awake watching it. Just because Kubrick’s name is on it, doesn’t make it a masterpiece. The single most disappointing film of Kubrick’s career, and the single biggest disappointment of my movie going life. American Beauty, Magnolia, and even Fight Club were far better films.
