Hmm, I’d think a Boogie enthusiast would enjoy Magnolia. Anyways, you should try There Will Be Blood next, it’s the first of a new stage for him, less over-indulgent and more formally rigid. First half is more Scorsese/Altman while the second is more Kubrick/Bergman.

These lists are silly and unprofound. No two people usually agree on such things. I remember stoners arguing about who was the greatest guitar god and best drum solo. It drove me mental. Who cares how others rate one director’s work. These list writers probably worked in a video store and had their little employee’s Favorite Picks wall.
