She had a few good scenes in Marriage Story. The monologue in the lawyer’s office and fight scene were both excellent but I dunno, I just don’t see the exceptionality of both her roles. I would’ve much rather seen Lupita Nyong’o get nominated for Best Actress and Ana de Armas for supporting. Agreed about Laura Dern playing a similar role to what she played in BLL. But she was still excellent in Marriage Story, as always.
